Travis Horr is the Director of External Affairs for Better Markets, where he promotes the organization’s work on Capitol Hill with government agencies and other partners. He serves as the primary point of contact with policymakers and influencers on the financial system, financial reform, and financial stability.

Mr. Horr most recently served as Senior Director of Government Affairs at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), where he managed the organization’s government affairs office and its interactions with the administration and Congress. He also advocated on legislation and prepared and presented testimonies for Congressional hearings.

Mr. Horr is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
