Jason Grimes was Senior Counsel for Better Markets where he contributed to all facets of Better Markets’ legal activities, including research, analysis, and the drafting of amicus briefs, reports, and pleadings that address important topics in financial regulation and reform.
Mr. Grimes came to Better Markets from the law firm of Covington & Burling where he was an Associate, working on compliance issues related to financial regulation, including derivatives and consumer protection laws and prudential regulations. He also assisted financial institutions with inquiries and investigations by the CFTC, CFPB, and other banking regulators. Prior to Covington, Mr. Grimes clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Roger W. Titus in the District of Maryland.
