Brady Williams is Legal Counsel for Better Markets, where he works to advance the organization’s advocacy in support of financial reform. His responsibilities include monitoring legal developments in the areas of securities, derivatives, and consumer protection and researching and drafting comment letters on proposed rules. He is also involved in preparing amicus briefs in important cases and special reports on topics relating to financial regulation.
Mr. Williams comes to Better Markets from the Federal Trade Commission, where he served as an attorney in the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. While at the FTC, Mr. Williams specialized in false advertising and other consumer protection matters.
Mr. Williams graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma and received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
