Sniff

People sometimes say that Washington DC is disconnected from America, but it would be hard to compete with the disconnect between Wall Street and the rest of the country.  A Bloomberg headline really says it all:  “Buffett:  Wall Street ‘Doesn’t Feel Loved. ’”

With under-employment and unemployment at historic highs, with poverty jumping, foreclosures still skyrocketing, and a sense of insecurity pervading so much of our country as people struggle from paycheck to paycheck, Wall Street is as narcissist as ever, having their “feelings” hurt because they aren’t being sucked up to enough.  Sorry state of affairs.
