Communications Personnel Changes

Better Markets is announcing two changes to its communications office.  First, the Communications Director, Alex Formuzis, is leaving due to family matters and relocating to California.  Second, it has hired a new Digital Communications Associate, Jesse Medalia Strauss, to strengthen our social and digital media activities.

In addition to digital communications, Jesse will also handle broader communications responsibilities for Better Markets.  Prior to joining Better Markets, Jesse created, directed and produced a documentary on income inequality and earned a Master’s Degree in Political Communication from American University.

“We are sorry that Alex has to leave, but pleased that Jesse will be joining the team.  Jesse is passionate about the financial industry, markets and reform.  We are excited to put his skills and storytelling abilities to work at Better Markets,” said Dennis Kelleher, President and CEO of Better Markets.  “As our Digital Media Associate, Jesse will bring exciting perspectives to assist in amplifying our message through a stronger digital presence.”
