WASHINGTON, D.C. – Pamela Russell has joined Better Markets as its Director of Communications and Public Relations. Better Markets is a Washington, D.C.-based independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that promotes the public interest in the domestic and global financial markets. Pamela will be responsible for the entire range of communications activities of the organization and will work directly with Dennis Kelleher, President and CEO.

A former journalist, Pamela has more than 20 years of experience in communications and marketing with veteran know-how in the nonprofit, corporate and education industries.
Most recently, she served as a strategic communications adviser for various nonprofits and high-tech companies. Prior to this, Pamela served more than 13 years as communications director for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education where she oversaw strategic communications, digital and social media, media relations and employee communications.
During her time with CASE, she pioneered “early adopter” multi-channel communications campaigns integrating print, digital and social media; created and executed strategies to support CASE services, executive leadership and global projects; and positioned CASE as a thought leader in advancing education issues, among other initiatives.
