Washington, D.C. – Anton Becker has joined Better Markets as Director of Communications. Becker, a Capitol Hill veteran who has served as a Communications Director and Press Secretary for Members of Congress, brings more than a decade of experience in communications and public affairs to Better Markets.  He will oversee the organization’s comprehensive communications strategy and efforts to reach and engage media, policymakers, opinion leaders, and the public on economic, financial, and financial reform issues.

Prior to Better Markets, Becker served as Assistant Vice President at Story Partners, a Washington D.C.-based public affairs agency. He also served as Communications Director for Congressman Frank Pallone, Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and as Press Secretary for Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth. Becker is a graduate of Union College.
