Fact Sheet: The Office of Management and Budget Takes a Wrong Turn as It Seeks Input on Ways to Weaken Already Inadequate Agency Law Enforcement

The Office of Management and Budget, the agency responsible for implementing the President’s regulatory objectives, has issued a request for information (RFI) seeking ways to reform the enforcement of federal rules. The questions posed by the RFI signal the agency’s intent to make enforcing our laws more difficult and allow bad actors to escape supervision and punishment.
