Houston Chronicle: Both parties agree on limiting banks

“An 80-year-old banking law has done the impossible: united Republicans and Democrats.

Donald Trump Republicans and Bernie Sanders Democrats have inserted into their party platforms a call to readopt the Glass-Steagall Act, which limits big banks. The move comes after Hillary Clinton explicitly rejected the idea, and Republicans called for repealing the Dodd-Frank Act, which imposed tougher restrictions on banking after the Great Recession.”
