Details on JPMorgan's Settlement with the Department of Justice

JPMorgan Chase has reached a settlement of $13 billion with the Department of Justice over JPMorgan’s sale of troubled mortgage investments. The New York Times details the negotiations that led to this agreement here.

In a fact sheet on JP Morgan and Jamie Dimon’s sweetheart deal, Better Markets has outlined the details of the settlement and discusses why the settlement may not be enough to punish the egregious wrongdoing by JPMorgan.
