Dennis Kelleher
Hi everyone.  Welcome to today’s conference.  I’m Dennis Kelleher, President and CEO of Better Markets, which I co-founded in 2010 with Michael Masters, who you will be hearing from later in the program.

Better Markets is a nonprofit advocacy organization based in Washington DC.  Using its unique Arc of Advocacy, it fights for the economic security, opportunity and prosperity of the American people in the legislative, regulatory and judicial arenas.  Its overriding goal is to ensure that our financial and economic systems serve all Americans, the productive economy, and society at large.

It’s our pleasure to be cosponsoring this event with the George Washington Law School, who we have partnered with several times over the last decade.

Before I introduce GW Law’s Interim Dean, I want to thank the entire Better Markets team for all their incredible work over many months in making this event possible, especially our Director of Administration Natalie Shotts, who has made virtually all of it possible.
